BREAD: Easy Accounting for Artists

Are your taxes taking time away from your dance career? Does tax season drain you emotionally? We make taxes easy in the Building Racial Equity in the Arts through Dance (BREAD): Rollin’ in the Dough Program. Enrich your dance and finances while creating a financial action plan. Attendees will begin the session with a grounding exercise to calm our minds. This will be followed by an hour-long interactive financial presentation by multiple different facilitators from different states covering taxes and accounting tips designed specifically for performing artists. We’ll then conclude with 30 minutes of Q&A.

Additionally, Devon “Steel Toe” Wallace from ClancyWorks Dance Company will be leading dance breaks tailored to the themes discussed in the session. Tierra Bonds from Take Charge Credit Consulting also will be there to answer your credit questions.
