Mathew Patrick Heggem (he/him) is the Founder & CEO of 10kCreators LLC, a social enterprise whose mission is to help 10,000 creators achieve financial freedom through mentorship, training, and access to critical resources. As both an artist and entrepreneur, this work is personal. In the world of business, a few career highlights include: 15+ years in the accounting industry, serving in leadership and growth roles at various firms, consulting entrepreneurs & small business owners; Member, Womxn Talk Money Advisory Board; Board President, Greenwich Village-Chelsea Chamber of Commerce; CPA Practice Advisor’s “20 Under 40” Superstar; Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program Alum.
As an artist: 20+ years of experience performing, choreographing and teaching in modern and contemporary dance; Co-founded two NYC-based dance companies, Kineasthesia and Left Side Labs; Presented solo & group works at arts festivals, cabarets, and theaters throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, including various evenings at Dixon Place and The Tank; recipient of a national award from the American College Dance Festival (ACDFA) for performance at The Kennedy Center (D.C.) He’s certificated in “Awareness Through Movement” from The Feldenkrais Institute of New York; and, he teaches regularly at Dance Conservatory Seattle.
